Wow, just wow. Words can't explain how much I already like Halo Reach. I wasn't even gonna buy it, but I'm glad I did. It's just overall so much fun. It's not a million times better than Halo 3, but it's just as good. And I fucking loved Halo 3. It's just so smooth.

I hope we can have a Halofest at Gzim's like we used to do. That would be so epic!

World Cup 2010

I love how everyone is into soccer now due to the World Cup - myself included.

I'm rooting for the US. Them and Polan... I mean Germany (technically it's the same thing since a quarter of the German team is from Poland, aka Ze Motherland).

Words cannot describe how much I fucking hate this game. For the past week I've been going over Victor's to play it. I've never been able to beat him in this game. Mainly due to all the bullshit that goes on during the game.

Here's an example of the kind of games we have:


First Half
I'm always the Jets
Victor usually plays as the Broncos, but he always bitches and says I'm not worthy
I complain and threaten not to play at all til he actually goes Broncos
I win the coin toss and kick the ball so I could get it in the 2nd half
Cutler - reminding you it's Madden 08 - drops back 30 steps and gets sacked or intercepted
Vic goes for it on 4th and 30
Vic doesn't make it
I end up kicking a Field Goal
Vic tries scrambling with Cutler and fumbles
I run the ball with Thomas Jones, playing somewhat conservative
I end up scoring
Vic gets the ball
Vic goes for it on 4th Down - doesn't make it again.
I get the ball and end up scoring before Haltime
Halftime - G Head 17 Victor 0

Second Half
I get the ball
I try a quick pass and it gets intercepted by Champ Bailey for a Touchdown
Vic goes for 2 and doesn't make it
I get the ball back
Thomas Jones runs for 10 yards and gets hit hard
Thomas Jones fumbles the ball
I start screaming, "Are you fucking serious!?"
Jay Cutler drops back 30 yards, throws the ball like Derek Jeter does, Brandon Marshall catches it for 30 yards
I scream at the TV again
I stop the Broncos
Vic goes for it on 4th and 35
Jay Cutler drops back another 20 yards and Brandon Marshall catches it with his asscheeks for another touchdown
Vic goes for 2 and makes it

Chad Pennington passes to Justin McCareins for an 80 yard touchdown- once again, it's 08

I swear I fucking hate this game. I don't hate the game nowhere near as much as I hate Victor. I don't get how he always does it. I feel like he's got some magical Puerto Rican dust that always lets him win.

I did kick his ass in Madden 10 though, so that made me feel a little better.

New Addiction

I'm in love - even though I fucking suck at it.

Normally I'd like to think I'm a nice guy. But I seriously have a horrible temper when it comes to two things; sports and video games. Sports I can understand due to man's primitive and competitive nature. I guess video games can fall within the same criteria, but seriously, I don't understand why I get so fucking pissed playing Gears of War 2, Madden, Halo, etc. It was never that bad until this year. Within the span of 10 months, I've broken:

2 Headsets
2 Controllers
My Madden (just happened today due to me actually punching the shit out of my X Box last night)
My X Box (not due to punching the shit out of it)

I seriously think I have a problem. The worst part is that - no matter how much I spend - I will never learn.

I'm either getting a new Madden or a Modern Warfare 2 tomorrow. I'll probably end up breaking it eventually though.

I remember playing Blue version...

The Rock Tunnel which was super hard to get out of; even with Flash!

Battling the Elite 4 and taking like 3 days just to beat Agatha.

Some of you are reading this thinking I'm a loser, but I don't care. Pokemon is the shit! The reason this came up is because I was doing some cleaning and found my Blue version. I'm gonna get an old Gameboy and play it for old times sake.

Good Day

School was decent. Instead of actually doing work in my Accounting class, I doodled an awesome monster.



I found a fun new book to read - Adland: A Global History of Advertising by Mark Tungate. The title basically explains it all



After class I went to Best Buy with Niall and I Got DaDa a TomTom for his Birthday. He's been wanting one for a while now so I figured what the hell.



I also realized I really wanna play Guitar Hero: Metallica. It looks fun as hell.

Then it was off to Niall's for some Gears of War 2. I am starting to hate Gears.

We got bored relatively quick and decided to watch Fido; a movie about a boy who basically gets a pet zombie.



It was kinda bad, but a lot better than expected.

And now, I'm doing 3 projects while listening to Pantera and Ninjasonik. Sadface.

Easter

So I had a really good Easter Sunday.

I woke up in the morning and went to church, which was not as bad as I initially made it out to be.

I had a big morning breakfast with the family.

I then just relaxed at home til like 3 watching Deadliest Catch on Discovery channel (it really sucked me in, but it's actually interesting).













Then I went to hang out with the guys and played football and basketball, which I did awful at both, respectively.

Then it was off to my friend's basement to watch Mortal Kombat and Wrestlemania 17. Ah memories. Undertaker and Stone Cold ftw.














Then of course I had to show off my wonderful vocal skills and play Rock Band 2. Next American Idol right here.










And then the cherry on top of a great day was watching Old School for the umpteenth time.




















I am actually looking forward to this week.

For at least a day or two.
